From the family wisdom as I remember it:
Daddy Harry- save 10% of everything you earn and have at least six months of you monthly salary in the bank.
Upton- spend and enjoy and help take care of those less fortunate.
Richard and Cynthia-take care of your family; give them what they need.
At least that is my recollection.
I say put money in the economy, travel to see us.

ReplyDeleteAh ha. Well, I agree with the travel to see people and I do remember Daddy Harry telling us to save 10% of our salary - and I did many times in my life. Right now is not one of those times. Or I should say, I do save 10% and then a few months later I spend it on the house.
