Can anyone guess this former home!?
and this was our path to the swimming pool and we did a parade on this street for the 4th of July...I personally shoveled three days of snow in the winter of 61 and made lots and lots of money.

Oh my goodness! How did you get this? Google? I don't remember our driveway being that long, must be a distortion. I have such fond memories of Wichita!
ReplyDeletei came back to look at this and yes, the photo is distorted but I can't believe the street is so narrow and there are so many trees. however ,looking at the drive, I suddenly remembered my last time there.
ReplyDeleteThe 51 Buick --Lady-- was loaded up to drive and I was saying goodbye to Dennis McCabe, Ann Griffin, Jonna Callahan and Larry Beasley in the driveway and suddenly feeling very sad to leave Wichita.
Then we all got in the cars and drove away...
It does look so different. And it seems such a staid color now :-). I wonder what the back looks like? Surely there is not still an open field back there. Lots and lots of memories.
