Moon over the mountains in late February. The snows here are starting to melt and I wind down my third and final year in Gunnison. I am debating going to three areas: Montrose/Grand Junction, the Albuquerque are and Oregon.
Lately I have been thinking about how we as a family and as individual members wee both transient and stable. Diana for years moved here and there and now is stable in Atlanta. The rest of us have ad our stable moments and then our wanderlust moments.
I think I am looking for that stable place after a summer of wandering. I hope t travel either in or our of the country this summer/fall.

Well, I have been in Marble Falls since 1982, so although I may seem like the wanderlust type, I seem pretty settled. Jack and I talk about moving sometimes (and Perry may make us think about it again - Tea Party Movement. Hmfff.) but we like where we are. I think I have had more of a wanderlust career path.
ReplyDeleteI know that after all the moving we did as kids, I wanted to let Trevor grow up in own place. He has many life long friends that I never had (might just be my personality) and I hope that gave him a stability that he might not have had otherwise.
I digress . . .
