I was not hurt - just startled and technically, Mei was there first and the deer ran into her, even though it looks like it was head on. It was a side hit - on the corner. Although I think I heard the deer say, "She hit me! She hit me!"
You are lucky it was not worse. Remember your poem... keep your space and tell the deer to do the same. (of course while they hear well, they are terrible at talking advice or direction....)
So glad you weren't hurt! Off to drop McKenna off at school and Keaton goes to Gymboree...with me ..There is a reason 60 year olds do not give birth!....Fun though...but I need a vacation....:-)
Or did Mei hit the deer? Who was there 1st? Oh, by the way, hope you were not hurt.
