Summertime, summertime, sum sum summertime

You know, I hate to say it but I am starting to get used to 105 degree weather. And heck, it is only 80 degrees at 6 am so that's the time to go out and do all that yard work and stuff.

I am hoping this is just a freak year, though. I don't know if I want most of my summer at temperatures that make it hard to go outside for more than 30 or 40 minutes. It's not like I can spend the day at the pool anymore. So what is it like to be retired, you three. Oh, and by the way, I am still in my fifties. Too young to retire anyway.

  1. I was just wondering about you today and the heat. I remember walking around Stillwater in 103-105 degree heat, that toasty warm heat and the sounds of the summer cicadas....

Hope the rains come back soon...
