You know, I hate to say it but I am starting to get used to 105 degree weather. And heck, it is only 80 degrees at 6 am so that's the time to go out and do all that yard work and stuff.
I am hoping this is just a freak year, though. I don't know if I want most of my summer at temperatures that make it hard to go outside for more than 30 or 40 minutes. It's not like I can spend the day at the pool anymore. So what is it like to be retired, you three. Oh, and by the way, I am still in my fifties. Too young to retire anyway.

I was just wondering about you today and the heat. I remember walking around Stillwater in 103-105 degree heat,that toasty warm heat and the sounds of the summer cicadas....
ReplyDeleteI have that here now too. and it makes the days not just bearable but enjoyable. hope you re too. Is the lake giving you any relief?

Oh sand i started to spend days at the pool but there are too many teen agers and such. how did we ever stand them back then..

As I remember, we were pretty fond of the teenagers back then :-). Especially some of them.
