Picture Packages: An Editorial

I have been invited to view photos form a number of picture sites. Each one will ask me to register and either give them an e-mail or a phone number.

I guess my right of privacy or something rebels and I just will not take that plunge yet

I think I am giving them power by that in small cuts.. kind of like facebook.

I welcome any comments on this brief editorial.

The Old(er) Curmudgeon Phil

  1. I have used flicker before and I have signed in to other services to see friend's photos, but only if I really, really want to. I tend not to sign into everything suggested to me, but if I really want to see/do something I sign in. I am careful to look at the security settings.

I will probably post my Scotland pictures on Picasso when I get them ready. I will put a few up on this blog, but certainly not all of them.

Don't know what to tell you other than that :-). I guess you are just an old curmudgeon, but is that a bad thing :-)?

  2. What's facebook? what's flicker-a horse? I thought picasso was a famous painter...life is passing us by. Oh, I am not writing a letter, so I must know something.

By the way, I saw a bio of a young tennis player-honor .student from Marble Falls who was featured on a high school sports feed on some cable service showing at a restaurant here we were eating. Know her?
