ain't no grave gonna hold my body down

No that is not a proclaimation about any dire grave illness-- I have been listening to Johnny Cash's most recent...great treatment of old songs. Just back from Nashville, I am. Emily and Dave and Otis headed to Swaziland tomorrow. All is well. What music are we listening to?

  1. Interesting. I made a comment last night, but it is not here this morning. Darn. What did I say? It was brilliant, I know that.

I have been thinking about getting the Johnny Cash album since I have really liked the selections I have heard on the radio. Maybe after the garage gets done. I have been listening to Stephane Grappelli, Still on the Hill, Tim Grimm, John Smith, Bill Evans, PP&M, and Krishna Das (and no telling what else).

  3. I am listening to robins, ducks and geese and barking dogs in the far distance...
In between I am listening to The Anonymous 4 (why wait for Christmas) Bill Evans always, Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell and Eckart Tolle...

then I am listening to my heart beat, and the grass starting to grow. and the flowing water of the just opened irrigation ditches filling the fish pond.

I have been listening to that Angola blues recording too. That is a great one.
