Lightly serious; milestone

I just applied for Social Security yesterday. Kind of very, very weird, like I am way too young. I just wanted you all to know I have not settled yet on being a city mouse or a country mouse or living in a dozen places as my settling down is just that: settling down in the kind to see what should be next.

(Left is my latest bid--Go to
http://www.metrobrokersonline.com/homes/CO/Montrose/81401/204_N_Nevada_Street/552789/index.html for full look. I will know Tuesday or so. )

I have found an adobe home in Montrose, a farm-ette and a condo. Then I have matched up the same in the Taos area, Fort Collins and in Coos Bay. Of course this makes it impossible t decide so I need a new strategy. Also my Jeep is saying: 'I have taken you this far , good and faithful driver, but my days are numbered, and so are my miles. "

So I wathc the Saturday rising sun with bith a thrill of choice and a mild dread-- the dread is yes, this--- WE WAS ROBBED in South Africa and hope we are not again. Actually I think the soccer gods evened things out from the England gimmie.

Summertime is Here for Phil

I just finished my last teaching assignment at Western State and am contemplating my next clooud formation. No set plan yet but I am sure one will come soon enough.... like the summer rain storm.

Looking forward to seeing Kelly and crew in July and going down to Mesa Verde again in the cool of the morning.

This was taken in my Gunnison condo back yard June 12. However someone paid me a bundle to take this so I lost my Heisman Trophy . ("Say it ain't hedgy, Reggie").

NASA Level 9 tour

Jack, Trevor and I are taking the NASA Level 9 tour on Monday. My understanding is that we get to go up in the shuttle and fly around the Earth a few times. Well, maybe not. However, if they let us do that, I will drop little presents down when we pass by your neck of the woods.

Where is Diana?

I know she said she would join the blog as soon as she retired. I suppose she is busy with baby boo.

Hello Diana, where ever you are.

New job and no time

I started over in Pharmacy on June 1, but I am still covering some of the things over in RTF so it is kind of busy. I anticipate it slowing down in a week or so because they will have their new person in over there.

Diana is retired which means she is probably twice as busy as before - visiting M and K (and E and M). I am doing the Kelly thing with the initials. I think it must keep us on our toes.

Jack and I are getting ready for our big road trip in early July. Route 66 to Chicago. 4 fun filled days of Godzilla. Then a trip home in who knows what route. Only the wind will know for sure.

Garage is almost finished. I have to build some stairs to the side door and we have to finish garage door opener #2.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

reading is fundamental!

Had a nice visit from E,D&O... they are doing great. Otis walked all over the house exploring each room to see what adventures each offered. I am headed for Honduras early Saturday. By the way, the Gingerbread man did not have a happy ending to his story he was eaten by a trickster. Who would have guessed?
